Get Back in the Saddle again with Charlie’s Friends.  Thursday, September 18 marks the first Friends @ 5 event of the new season. Held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Museum, Friends @ 5 celebrates the spirit of Charlie Russell by hosting social gatherings for young and young-at-heart Museum supporters. Friends, food, and beverages are available.  On October 16, join us for an Oktoberfest celebration, also from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ah Wah Cous room.
            Charlie’s Friends is a special membership group of the C.M. Russell Museum.  The group exists to encourage family involvement in social, cultural, and educational activities and to develop a broader base of interest and support for the Russell Museum.  They have helped to develop the contemporary western art collection at the Museum, purchasing a number of significant pieces.  They host Friends @ 5 events on an almost-monthly basis, put on Night at the Mint every January, and volunteer countless hours to Museum events.  Visit www.cmrussell.org or call 406-727-8787, ext. 330 for more information.
