It’s time again for the C.M. Russell Museum’s annual Wild West Flicks and Picks film series, to be held October 5 and 6, 2007. This year’s theme is Spaghetti Westerns. Along with presenting classic Western films, we will also have a spaghetti dinner!

C.M. Russell Catalogue Raisonné Symposium

From 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., Russell enthusiasts and scholars will share their thoughts on the life and works of Charles M. Russell. Lunch will be provided. Featured speakers include: Anne Morand, Peter H. Hassrick, Brian W. Dippie, Raphael James Cristy, Rick Stewart, and B. Byron Price.

Cocktails with Charlie
Start: 5:30 pm
End: 7:30 pm

Enjoy appetizers and cocktails, then stroll through five galleries featuring works by Charles M. Russell. Dressy western attire is encouraged. Cocktails with Charlie is part of the Charles M. Russell Catalogue Raisonné Premiere. Tickets are $175 per person and include the C.M. Russell Catalogue Raisonné  Symposium, Cocktails with Charlie, and the Dinner and Catalogue Raisonné  Premiere. Please join us for a special workshop related to works by Currier and Ives!

On Saturday, October 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Russell Museum will present “Getting Acquainted with Art.” At this special workshop, you will learn about the cultural expansion generated by the development of printmaking. This workshop will be offered in conjunction with the exhibition “Currier and Ives: Printmakers to the People.”
