Tonight is the official kick-off of the 40th Annual C.M. Russell Auction. Join us at the Heritage Inn (1700 Fox Farm Road) at 6 p.m. for the Exhibit Room Grand Opening and Charlie's Birthday Party. Both events are free and open to the public.

Exhibit Room Grand Opening: Enjoy over 100 art exhibit rooms, full of original western art. Exhibit rooms are open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, as well as throughout the rest of the Auction festivities.

Museum-Hosted Reception: For Auction ticket holders only! Enjoy a special reception at the C.M. Russell Museum, sponsored by Stockman Bank, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Enjoy appetizers and drinks while admiring over 300 pieces of original art to be auctioned on Friday and Saturday.

Enjoy a special dinner at the Russell Museum before you head into the galleries to enjoy a concert by the Chinook Winds. Enjoy Dinner at the Mint, catered by Penny’s Gourmet To Go and served in the Museum’s Mint Café. Join us for a Russell Museum favorite! Blackfeet beader Jackie Larson Bread will instruct a month-long class, teaching traditional Blackfeet beading stitches. Learn the lazy stitch, edge stitch, and interrupted stitch to make either a Blackfeet male or female doll. Class meets every Wednesday in April from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Russell Museum.
