Sponsored by the Great Falls Museum Consortium, this free day is set aside for visitors to explore all the museums in the Great Falls area by participating in a city-wide scavenger hunt. In addition, children will have the opportunity at the Russell Museum to create a simple art project before visiting other museums. Join us for a Russell Museum favorite! Blackfeet beader Jackie Larson Bread will instruct a month-long class, teaching traditional Blackfeet beading stitches. Learn the lazy stitch, edge stitch, and interrupted stitch to make either a Blackfeet male or female doll. Class meets every Wednesday in April from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Russell Museum.

Join us on Saturday, April 26th for a Taste of Art at the Russell Museum. From noon to 4 p.m., various classes will be conducted, all with a garden theme. Nancy Russell was wife and business manager of Charlie Russell. She often entertained guests in their home and at their summer cabin located on Lake McDonald. In her spirit, classes about patio gardening, backyard grilling, and tablescapes will be offered for one special day!
