The Russell: The Sale to Benefit the C.M. Russell Museum

Thursday, March 17, 2011 - 12:00pm - Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 4:00pm

As next year's The Russell: The Sale to Benefit the C.M. Russell Museum approaches, the staff and board of directors at the C.M. Russell Museum are working to bring you the best of the West!

Next year's events will be held during Western Art Week, March 17-19, 2011. As the date approaches, we will keep you updated on a schedule of events, art submissions, special guests, and programming. As during last year's events, we will hold three major events: the wall art sale, Art in Action, and the live auction.

We are also thrilled to announce a special guest for The Russell. Ree Drummond, aka The Pioneer Woman, will join us for two days during Western Art Week. Ree Drummond is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Pioneer Woman Cooks. Her blog, Confessions of a Pioneer Woman, receives 4 million unique site visitors and more than 20 million page views per month.

Ms. Drummond documents life on a working cattle ranch in Oklahoma through photos and words and knows, all too well, the realities of modern-day Western life. She will be in Great Falls for events on March 18 and 19, 2011. We will update this site as we finalize details of her visit.
