2009 Masters in Miniature

This year's Masters in Miniature opens the evening of June 20 with a Museum Members and Artists Reception. Members are invited to preview the art and mingle with some of our wonderful local artists. The exhibition features more than 200 works of art by over 100 local, national and regional artists, and will be on view throughout the summer. This will allow more of our peak season visitors to enjoy these small paintings, drawings, and sculpture by contemporary artists.

The main sale for Masters in Miniature will take place at the fixed price all sale at the annual cocktail/buffet reception on September 12. However, for those who just can't wait until then, or don't want to take the chance that your name might not be drawn as the lucky buyer, a BUY-IT-NOW! option will be available all summer! This year, the buy-it-now option will be 25% over the wall price (for example, a $100 piece can be purchased before the sale for $125). For those who cannot attend in person, the Museum is happy to arrange absentee and phone sales.
