Break out your cowboy boots, bandanas and chaps! Charlie’s Friends present “Night at the Mint 2008,” a benefit for the C.M. Russell Museum on Friday, January 18th from 5:30 – 10:30 p.m. Get ready for some live, barn-burning honky-tonk music, vivacious saloon girls, a delicious beef brisket dinner, cocktails and Monte Carlo-style poker games as this grand event returns to the Museum! Night at the Mint will also feature silent auctions and a Mint Museum Store where you can spend your “hard-earned” Mint Money.
This extraordinarily fun evening celebrates the life and times of Charlie Russell during turn-of-the-century Great Falls, and his favorite haunt — the Mint Bar! The Mint Bar exhibited one of the better collections of Russell’s paintings, a collection that to this day is known as the Mint Collection.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $25 at the C.M. Russell Museum, Kaufmans Men’s Wear, and the O’Haire Motor Inn. Tickets will also be available at the door for $30. Ticket sales are limited, so don’t delay in purchasing yours! The ticket price includes admission, dinner, and Mint Money. For more information, contact the C.M. Russell Museum at (406) 727-8787.
