Russell Museum Receives Grant From RBC Dain Rauscher

GREAT FALLS, MT – The C.M. Russell Museum recently received a $4,000 grant from the RBC Dain Rauscher Foundation. The grant will help fund activities, speakers, and educational programs during the Museum’s Native American Week, to be held September 23-29. “We are very fortunate to have RBC Dain Rauscher as one of our supporters,” said Museum CEO Anne Morand. “They have always been so generous to us, both with their time and their money. We are very appreciative of this gift, and are excited about the opportunities it brings.”

The Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life in the communities where they do business by supporting non-profit organizations that make a positive difference. The Foundation gives special consideration to organizations in which RBC Dain Rauscher employees are involved; employees Dan Ball and Rhad Keel serve on the Museum’s Board of Directors and Board of Charlie’s Friends, respectively. The Foundation focuses on organizations that relate to Arts and Culture, Human Services, and Youth Education. In 2006, they awarded over $2.6 million in grants nationwide.

Opened in 1953, the C.M. Russell Museum’s mission is to collect, preserve, research, interpret, and educate on the art and life of Charles M. Russell. In addition, the Museum also focuses on the art and lives of Russell’s contemporaries, as well as art that depicts the culture, life, and country of Russell’s West.
