The Russell: The Sale to Benefit the C.M. Russell Museum

2010 has been a good year for the C.M. Russell Museum, thus far! This year's Sale to Benefit the C.M. Russell Museum saw unprecedented success. As of the close of Western Art Week on March 20, gross sales for the Museum totaled $1.7 million, which brought net proceeds to more than $600,000.
The Russell event included two live auctions, a wall sale, celebrity appearances, and a myriad of opportunities to mix and mingle with the "Who's Who" of the Western art world.
The proceeds from this year's sale will help The Russell Museum continue its mission to collect, preserve, research, interpret, and educate on the art and life of Charles M. Russell; the art and life of his contemporaries; and the art of preceding and ensuing generations that depicts and focuses on the culture, life, and country of Russell’s West.

Next year's sale, for which planning is already underway, is scheduled for March 17-19. We look forward to seeing you all there!
